Minzu Hotel was built in 1959 on the First Street in China-the
Chang-An Street in the center of Beijing. Forty years later,
the elegant ambience still sets Minzu apart from the rest of
newer hotel buildings in Beijing.
We
have created a collection of works by renowned Chinese
artists. Many foreign dignitaries graced Minzu with their
presence, among those are President Nixon of the U.S.,Prime
Minister Kakuei Tanaka of Japan, Prime Minister of New
Zealand, Prime Minister Kwun Yew Lee of Singapore, President
Ford of U.S., Secretary of the State Henry Kessinger of U.S.,
President Bush of U.S. We also recently hosted the press
conference for the Fourth International Women's Conference. Minzu
Hotel grew with China and witnessed history on many
occasions. At the dawn of the new millenium, we are well posed
to greet the new age with our up-to-date facilities and

restaurant, Huai Yang, Sichuan and Shandong food series
isits priority, while the subsidiary food series are belong to
some minority nationalities, such as Dai nationality, Dong
nationality, Xinjiang, Korea, etc.
Fucheng restaurant - Mainly cooking Canton style and
seafood. Hai Yang Palace The priority is Chaozhou food.
Western Food Restaurant: The Senior French cook will present
you authentic French and Italian western food. Turkish BBQ.

Our rooms are more spacious compared to newer hotels in
Beijing because Minzu was built in the 50s. There are a total
of 520 rooms and suites including the standard, deluxe rooms,
